I still use them, they come in handy for many things, wiping cuts, wiping away ice cream etc etc, carry on with them, they are cool, now available in striking colours

When I was a young man, I thought a handkerchief was for old people, like dentures, Ben-gay, and scotch. I mean really, a handkerchief was kind of a nasty idea and I didn’t have to blow my nose much anyways.

Over time, I came change my view. Like many young men, as I got older, I began to see the wisdom of my father, grandfather, and other men of older generations. By your late 20s, you begin to realize how foolish some of your ideas of your early 20s were about what you would and wouldn’t do in life.

So, for probably the last 10 years, I’ve carried a handkerchief in my back pocket. And you should too.

Before you dismiss the idea, give me a chance to discuss it a bit.

For those that don’t know, a handkerchief is usually a white cotton piece of cloth that is roughly a foot square. There are a few different kinds, like the handkerchief designed to stick out of a suit pocket, but the kind I’m talking about is the simplest kind.

I'm 30 and haven't had a hanky since kindy.
Although, if i'm in bed at night and i need to blow my nose. I will reach down and grab that days dirty shirt and blow my nose on that.
My wife has said she hates the habbit and has bought me tissues.
Perhaps I could meet in the middle and I could join you in the ***U5HB*** (Under 50 Handkerchief Brigade.)

I don't think you're too young to use them, but the problem with a handkerchief is that it's not very sanitary. You use it and reuse it during the day...I would recommend using kleenex.

Do you have a youthful-guy-making use of-hankie fetish? I see a great number of your questions could do with this. besides, to respond to your question, the only guy i be attentive to of who makes use of handkerchiefs is my father, yet he's older than 21.

I do and I am.
They're much better than tissues - softer on the nose, more absorbent, don't fall to bits in use, and don't explode everywhere if you leave them in your pocket when you put your trousers through the washing machine!
