Some humans have low intellect and enjoy actually making others feel bad. It is normally due to themselves feeling inadequate.

Because they themselves are weak or insecure. No other reason.

In order to step up they have to step on.
I agree, people who do such don't think that they can be more without making others be less.
It's their problem, don't make it yours.
