My dad passed away recently, and a couple of times now I have looked to the stars and asked him for his help in watching over my mom. I asked him to let me know that he was still here with us,and within a minute or two I saw 2 shooting stars streak across the sky.Also, there has been acouple of pictures taken inside moms house and there are clearly orbs of light in them. are these sings by him, to assure us that he will always be around?

Yes, I also am a believer in the spirit world where there are no coincidences. There is a number of similar examples in the "spirituality" literature where spirits of close family members have used "shooting stars" as a sign to let their family know that they (the spirits) are at peace and are watching over the family. Yes, our loved ones will always be around and will send us special signs of their presence. Such signs include a scent of perfume, appliances going off and on, the ringing of the phone, finding coins in unusual places, birds, feathers, flowers, a ringing bell, a sense of being touched on the shoulder or elsewhere, sensing a depression on the bed while you are in bed, objects being moved, the spirit's presence in your dreams, etc. The orbs of light in the pictures are usually angels rather than the spirit of the family member. Keep talking to your dad as you have been doing because he can hear you and will continue to watch over you and your mom. My father passed away one year ago and when he comes around I hear a bell ringing. Blessings to you and your mom and always remember that your dad's love for you both is always surrounding you and one day you will all be together again. What a celebration that will be!

First off, please let me express my sympathy...Furthermore, yes I am a believer, however, if you look too hard for signs, you might think you find something in which is nothing. I also believe that no one can answer this question for you in a definite manner, because I believe that your heart knows the answer, and only YOU know the feelings that you had when you saw the stars and the orbs within the photographs. But don't look too hard, because when you do, it can lead to confusion and this will stress you to the point where you may miss the signs of him...I say this, because often times, they give us signs that are so simple, that we miss them. But however, I do have to admit that it does sound like you did get a response from him, and a positive one at that!
You must be one special girl to him! :)

I firmly belief that there are "spirit worlds" have had a couple of expereinces myself in that realm. check out The Paranormal Research Society on Yahoo! groups, they have som egood information on the subject.

Yes I had similar experiences except it was finding pictures and objects that belonged to my dad and I had them packed away. I kinda freaked out when they were in plain view for me to see after packing them away.

we are all forms of energy and apparently we have a soul, well at least I think I do, anyways it is possible, anything is possible under that great sky that we have been blessed to glaze our eyes upon
