NEED TO BUILD RAMP FOR MY MOM...... MOBILE HOME STAIRS R 30" HIGH.... WHAT NOW?

You would have to build it to code. If your steps now are 30" high, you would need a ramp 30 feet long. The code is 1 foot per inch. If there is not room for a 30 ft. ramp, you can build it in a "U" shape. What I mean is if you ever went to an office or some type of place that has a ramp that you walk up, turn and walk up more.

First check the mobile home codes, and/or city codes. If your Mom will be using the ramp on her own make sure it has a long grade or if she will be getting assistants you can make it sharper. Don't forget rails & to seal the bottom so criters can't get in. Depending on where she lives make sure the ramp is weather safe. Go to your local hardware store most of them are very helpful. Good Luck! I hired a handyman for my Mom's ramp.

If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you should use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Go here https://tr.im/vTpbE
Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.

You can probably find plans on line. Or go to Home Depot and Lowes and ask one of the specialist at the contractors desk.; Unless you have power tools though and a knowledge of wood working, it would be easier and not too expensive to hire a handyman just to do it.
