thanks to everyone thats attemted to answer my question, its fairly obvious that you wouldnt see anything without a light and if you had a light because the light couldnt escape does that mean it would become increasingly brighter? or hotter? or perhaps it wouldnt because i would be in the way. I guess it depends on what sort of light source anyway i stll cant get my head round it. thanks, ps anyone got a picture of themselves in a mirrored sphere or perhaps the camera flash had an undesirable effect

Assuming some sort of inner light source, as every square inch of the inner sphere is reflective, what I think you'd see would be a complete kaleidoscope of all the colours that make up you and your clothes-light would reflect from you off the mirrored side in all directions, to be reflected and merged back with other reflections from other "sides"-a complete smear of all the colours you introduce.
Which would then smear and bloat around as you moved and if the light source was blocked, moved or obscured...

A real headache, in other words!

supposing that u didn't ask this question to get answers like 'there
would be no light', lets assume that the sphere is lighted from the inside. since u can look only in one direction of a mirror at a time, it would really just act like a concave mirror of very large radius of curvature.i.e, just like in any other mirrors, u would see yourself but the image size woud be so much bigger

Great question! Most interesting one I've seen....if I could give it a thumbs up, I would.....Have you ever stood in a hall with mirrors on both sides? It would probably be similar.....a huge jumble of reflections. Of course you would need to bring a fashlight or other light source inside with you - and then, it would probably be amazingly bright. Maybe like a kaleidiscope? Can't wait to read the answers!

had to answer a bounch of stupid and easy question.
had to read to some answer as well.
but this is what makes this site great. this is a question worth buzzing your mind with.
nice one kiddo.
i will get back to it i promise. of course somehow there is light inside the sphere huH???? you are interested in the reflection i guess . what woudlthe outcome be??? i guess it would be a blend 2 dimensional image looking at your body form the front and rear at the same time.
i connot visualise that clearly.

damn that is a good question!

Accepting the light issue, as you cannot see the whole of the interior of a sphere in one glance, I imagine it would be the same effect as looking into a spoon.

Your self in all angle's it would be a major headache.

BUT if you where in this sphere there would be no light thus you could not see anything and if the glass was two way you would see out

if you were holding a torch you would see very streched versions of yourself.

Nothing. There'd be no light.
