I can be in a web page,ex. applying for a job, it will suddenly freeze up and the only way to get out is to cntl, alt, delete, then I have to start all over again. Most times it will continue to do the same. The Explorer says not responding. I have a firewall and Norton and McFee(sp) why is this still happening?

it is because of the weight on the processor. if u are using a p3, then u have to uninstall most of the major softwares,, norton is not recommended, and dont use too many instant messengers,, and color resolutions,, and graphics,,,,
reduce all of them to the minimla usage state,, then the last thing to do is to chk if u are using the right browser,,
internet explorer 7 (beta) has got a few problems in it,,, it is good, but it uses a huge amount of memory,,
so try to get back to oldr versions,,, or try using firefox....

this shud solve ur problem,,
thanx
