Actually it never really states that 7 days was on a Saturday, that is the accepted date by the Jewish faith, whereas the Christian faith believe that the Sabbath falls on Sunday
Basically it doesn't really matter, it's just an accepted date that is commonly used for simplicity.

For much the same reason as Christmas is celebrated on December 25, a former pagan observance.
In the third and fourth centuries, as the Catholic Church rose to prominence in the Roman Empire, it increasingly incorporated customs adapted from pagan worship practices. Among these was the elevation of Sunday, the day devoted to honoring the sun god, a deity extremely popular among the Roman masses.

I've thought that the verse
Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,
was talking about Sunday. The verses below seem to indicate some habit of meeting then.

The early Christian church kept Sabbath (Saterday) as God commanded in the first book of the Bible and in Exodus 20 the 4th commandment. But then the church wanted the Sun worshipers to join Christiandom and so they changed the Sabbath to Sunday to accomadate the sun worshipeers and took the stance tha Christ was reserected on Sunday. But yes the Sabbath is still Saterday and Christ never changed it to sunday man did

This got changed early in the life of the church, I think it is because Jesus was raised to life on a Sunday (3 days after Good Friday).

a lot of churches do have Sat. services.
I don't think it matters much what day a person attends church.
We are supposed to worship God all the days of our lives, wherever we are. It doesn't have to be in a certain building or at a certain time.
