I'm a rabbit lover have had rabbits since the age of 11, im now 23. My rabbits have bred too (I was told they were both females). Anyway the age they can breed depends on what breed they are. It's usually between 4-6 months. Smaller breeds can breed at an earler age than the larger breeds.

Your bunny can start to show signs of hormones any where from 3 - 8 months old and that means she can get pregnant if she meets a male bunny. He can impregnate her so fast you wouldn't believe it.
There are many reasons to spay your bunny:
1 - It is good for her health. About 80% of unspayed females develop uterine cancer
2 - It helps with behavior - she'll be calmer and much better with her litter box
3 - You don't contribute to the overpopulation problem of rabbits. So many are in shelters because they are unwanted.
4 - If you want to get your bunny a friend, she'll probably do better with a neutered male and you up the odds of the bond working if she is spayed too. Advantage is she'll be less lonely and bored with a friend.
Here is a link to many good articles about spaying and neutering your bunny.

That site has lots of good information about bunnies as does www.rabbit.org
Hope this helps.
