95% male's hair loss problem caused of DHT factor.
I have encountered the male pattern baldness for 10 years. I have been taken Propecia for 7 years plus 5% minosidil with daily used. If you need my opinion I would say this is the ultimate solution and it is the best medical treatment for time being. You can visit www.newhair.com/ for further info and other Medical treatment options like Dustasteride 93% effectiveness.
Pls NO DO any surgery before you try these 2 medicines.
I have been through a scalp reduction and I nearly to kill myself 5 years ago. good luck

Depends on the cause. I have genetic hair loss in my family, every male in my family was completely bald on top by the time they got to there early twenties, with the exception of one of my uncles who had is hair shaved from an early age regularily, he has a full head of hair.
Shaving does encourage the hair folicules (spelling?) to grow.
I knew i was going to go bald so i just started shaving my hair from an early age and now at the age of thirty i still have stubble on top, although a little thinner than the stubble at the sides. I don't realy care to much, at the end of the day if you go bald you go bald, women love it (well some of them..) so its really nothing to worry about. You just have to except who you are and be happy with yourself, hair does not make the man!!
I did read somewhere that wearing hats is not a good idea if you have thinning hair as if you sweat it acts in a similar way to acid and can slowly over time encourage further hair loss.
Good luck!

Like J said, it could be caused from many things. Keeping in mind that genetic hairloss is very common and with the exception of getting some Just for Men shampoo, there really isn't a whole lot to remedy the situation. They do have hair stem replacement, but I would imagine the cost to be outrageous. Just learn to live with the wonderful way God made you. He made us all special and you were no exception.

As you can get from previous answers, that hair loss is caused by sevaral reasons mainly
- lack of nutrients
- stress and anxiety
- constipation
- genetic
- exposure to sun and dirt
So you have to ensure that above are taken care of. You can try yoga specially Shirsashan.
There are several medicines avaialble for the problem but all works on one or other aspects of hair loss.
You can try Minoxydil Topical Solution of 2% potency (available as brand name MinTop in India) along with Betdexamin (multi vitamin capsules). Minoxydil works throuh increasing the density of hair and promoting regrowth, though it takes around 6-8 weeks to see the result.
Check with your medical advisor for more details..

I don't know what you look like but if you think you could get away with shaving it, do it! I am 27 and alot of my guy friends my age are going through that and they shaved their heads and they look so much better!! You won't have as much maintenence either and may wonder why you didn't do it sooner. But, if you wanna keep your hair, sorry I couldn't help and listen to the other answers, and good luck man!

Well, #1, how old are you, and is the normal? Also, there are medical issues as well that could be making this happen. However, my sis-in-law is a beautican and she said it is normal to lose 1000's a day. So, now that I've confused you, and me too, I'm not sure where to go with this now. :(
