in sarawak, its very famous for traditional tattoos, especially of the iban tribes. come to iban long houses for a visit (anywhere in sarawak esp rural areas) and ask for a free traditional tattoo-usualy done by the elder folks! if tht's too troublesome, do come to kuching, sarawak's capital city and visit BORNEOHEADHUNTER tattoo studio, where you still can do an Iban traditional tattoo! i did my piercing there!

If i'm not mistaken, there are some @ the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, too. MY bro had his tattoo there. :)
