There are many systems by which the astrological 'chart' [Horoscope not Horiscope] can be drawn and interpreted precisely. It has the potential of giving some kind of indication of the events in future, based in interpretation of the relative planetary positions at birth and the present configurations. A good astrologer can give almost near accurate predictions to the day, as many people who have experience will tell. It is a belief system- If you believe in it- it is something, if you dont believe it may mean nothing at all. Overall it is an interesting field.

for the most part, no they aren't. but that doesn't mean that astrology isn't potentially meaningful. as far down as we can see, everyone and everything is made of energy, electrons; so maybe the positions of the planets could have an affect on the creatures living on one of them.
