2.answer questions posted without checking out others answers first(thats cheating,in my humble opinion) - Nope, i never check out others answer before answering the question. I try to answer as honestly and genuinely as i can.

3.find it sort of addicting? - I´ve got an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and i love yahoo for creating somethin like Yahoo Answers, cuz i have so many questions and so many things i wanna know that this is almost like a christmas present, so yeah its kinda addicting hehe. :D

Ignorance Is A Bleeder.

It's supposed to be for knowledge, but as you know, just like in school, many kids don't take knowledge seriously. Many folks use it as a forum, or to vent out, or as therapy!

Never mind if your ideas get duplicated. Originality can be your saving grace. Plagiarism doesn’t faze me. Believe in your writing abilities. Also take note; questioners are often attracted to the personality types of the people who answer the questions, and not always the informativeness of the answers.

Be selective about what you answer to avoid addiction. Choose from the list of categories. And if a question looks suspicious, you have the right to run a background check on the questioner and report abuse (I’m mean, aren’t I?). And don't be afraid to post questions (just be selective about where you post it and try to attract a select readership).

Yet, even in this circus, you can discover valuable curiosities.

How can it be cheating not to check other answers before posting your own? This is a place to give opinions. You've heard the saying "3 out of 4 doctors recommend", maybe an asker would like to go with what the majority says about his/her question. Maybe they'd like to see if 3 out of 4 answers.....
You get the idea.

1. I use it for both serious questions and for fun.
2. I check out the other answers, but it won't change my opinion. If me and someone else have the same answer, just worded differently...well, great minds think alike.
3. Not really, at least not yet. I haven't been doing this for very long.

I just screw around on this site. I think it's fun. Whoever came up with it is a genius, but I wonder how many people have lost their jobs because they spent too much time on it. I've already lost one job because of it.
