why do men think they can stay out late but for a women we cant it makes me laugh that one rule for them and another for us ....

well done flowerpot you just hit the nail right on the head. I totally agree with you, why should it be one rule for men and another for us. At the end we are all equal to each other and were are in the year 2006 now not 1906, women dont belong chain to the kitchen sink, and the bedroom. We have our own plans on life and our own minds and we can do anything a man can do and 9 times out of 10 we do it better lol.

I really dont care if men or women stay out later than one another. The only reasons I can think some people believe that way are because the dads dont want to give their daughters a chance to have sex, and chances for bad things to happen to women are much higher than men at night.

This is the same question in which could be asked about women. Sometimes roles are opposite. Some women think THEY can stay out late while THEIR men are at home waiting.

good! so you want to sort that out for once and for all. fine then you can keep the following as a rule universally applicable that :
a- All the women will be inside their homes by 8:30 P.M.;
b- Men will be at liberty to stay away as long as the want.

Yes they do think the rules are different - they still want to stay out late because they havent all grown up yet - we go out with our friends, have fun and know when its time to come home.

you know, if you are in a relationship where you are not on an even keel thats your own fault be brave and get out of it instead of moaning. None of the guys I know would even think of imposing rules on women, adults abide by their own rules. sorry if its a bit harsh but if you have this dim view of men you are socialising with the wrong ones.

Some times woman have different rules to it goes both ways in some casses. No it"s not right but some think that there way is the only way, it"s ok for one but not the other, most times it"s jealousy.

Men are problem solvers , we see something wrong, we fix it, Women are analysts, they want to discuss and think about things.
So in more vulnerable situations woman are unable to quickly react to protect themselves. Woman are more apt to be the victim of crime at late hours of the evening and early morning hours.

All the girls I know, especially when there your girlfriend always go out more and stay out later. Maybe that just my group of friends but i think its because they are students or dont have high responsibility jobs!

rules! i hate rules...if you are not married to him then you can do what the heck you like....whats good for the goose is good for the gander...some guys stay out late and don't care what you think...the damage is already done by then..if he can stay out late....take a leaf out of his book and do exactly the same...
