Could you be pregnant? Most likely you won't notice any symptoms until about the time you've missed a period — or a week or two later. I didn't have any symptoms until I was 5 weeks, and it hit me hard. I had the worse case of morning sickenss, it really sucked. If you are pregnant congradulations!

The strangest thing happened with me, I concieved around 8-10th of April (we found that out later of course). Around 20th I started getting severe itching on my palms, like an allergy, the doc (ordinary MD guy) said it could be from a new perfume or soap or even from my 3 year old dog. I checked the net, some women get an allergic reaction to HCG (the hormone that shows up at pregnancy, thats what they check in the blood and in urine to confirm a pregnancy). And it makes their palms and soles of the feet itch. So thats my weird story for how quickly symptoms can show up. For most women its usually within 4-6 weeks of conception when all the breats soreness/nausea/tiredness comes in.

For me, when I got pregnant with each of my 3 kids. I could tell with in the first month. The morning sickness told me. And I didnt have a period. But for me it was a month into the pregnancy. But every woman is different. Your best bet is to take a test, either at home or at a health department or your normal Doctor. Im told to wait atleast 2 weeks after unprotected sex. But with all the home pregnancy tests out there you might be able to find out sooner.

The beginning of pregnancy may be detected in a number of ways, including various pregnancy tests which detect hormones generated by the newly-formed placenta. Clinical blood and urine tests can detect pregnancy soon after implantation, which is as early as 6-8 days after fertilization. Home pregnancy tests are personal urine tests, which normally cannot detect a pregnancy until at least 12-15 days after fertilization. Both clinical and home tests can only detect the state of pregnancy, and cannot detect its age.
