I got off my period 4 days ago. And I have been taking my birthcontroll pills everyday. Almost at the same time. Me and my husband had unprotected sex last night(27th). I started to spot right before we did. It wasn't a period spotting though. It looked like my period was finishing up. But I still worry. We can't afford another kid right now. Could I be pregnant? It's to early to take a test.

the real fertility period is usually 10-14 days after the period gets over, but then again people are known to get pregnant during their period, so thats not altogether a given. why do you unprotected sex when you are on the pill and you were taking them everyday, thats protected to some extent, not from disease but surely from an unwanted pregnancy? I dont think you need to worry about being pregnant, firstly you were still having the end of your period and secondly you are on the pill, its highly unlikely.

It isn't likely - you don't produce another egg until at least 5 to 7 days after your period. However, it is a slight possability. But you are on the pill and take it regularly, that makes it even more slim of a chance. The best thing to do is to contact your doctor and ask them their advice. Never leave things like that up to chance.

I would doubt that you're pregnant since you just finished your period, but if you're going to worry this much, why don't you try using two methods of birth control? It might ease your mind.

Well, anytime you have sex you run the risk. It's hard to say. Make an appointment with your Dr. or go to your local health dept and discuss this with them.
