Waves = changes, problems, difficulties
Not drown = willing to face it.

In your case, your probably have some difficulties or troubles in your life and you are willing to accept and face it. Having waves projected in your dream could mean you are suffering lots of changes in your life. However, you are not drown because subconsciously you know you have to face it. This dream reflects your personality and how you handle things.

Let's say the water is your emotional conscience. Waves and ripples are disturbances in your emotions. They must be crushing you down but you look out and you noticed that you worry about being unlucky and that thought is crushing you down. Then you thing that everything is okay as you are on a top hill as you want to get away from being unlucky.

I would think that you are pretty stressed at the moment; perhaps things are hectic at work or in some other aspect of your life; but you are a strong person, and therefore you know that you will get through it all and still be OK? I'm guessing here, but that's how I'd "analyse" it

I should think it means that your subconscious is expressing a problem that you keep under control or deny during waking hours: namely that you have considerable worries and stresses which are threatening to engulf you. Seek help, employ extra staff, tell someone. Whatever you do, you must shift some load onto someone else, professional or not.

It sounds like an anxiety dream to me but the fella above me could be on to something. If you wake up or feel unsettled in your sleep it is anxiety. It happens to us all.
The REALLY liberating dreams are the ones where you are floating or flying.

Have a good week-end.

It seems like a very liberating dream to me. Water: Pure, washing, refreshing. It expresses your desire to live such liberation. Maybe be more spontaneous in life. Hard to say since I don't know your situation.
