I think everything what is old-is classic. People just stop believing in a better world and they always tend to love what they were doing in the past. Always compare.
I mean, Mercedes Benz of 1900 Exclsuive-will be classic (but it was not comfortable and inconvenient wagon of iron). But S-500 is what we have today. I think-classic-is the past achievment.

Damn fine film suffers in the long dark shadow cast by "The Godfather" films my 2 fave movies but a great movie nonetheless hard to find a whole lot of people who've seen it however

No, you're certainly not alone! Time Out included it in it's 1000 Films To Change Your Life book - and it won numerous awards, including two BAFTAs! Generally, anything with Robert De Niro in it is pretty darn good!
