i look at it this way. The Bible says that God made us in His Image. That doesn't mean a particular skin color, since the world is so big.

Our minds are not able to fathom what Jesis looks like because we are limited and have not seen Him. The pictures of Him are products of our imaginations. That's one reason why He's always painted with white skin.

I always imagine Jesus to be of ALL colors, dialects. etc..

Jesus was born a jew in the middle east about 2000 years ago. At that time in that area the people were very dark skinned. Al depictions of a white jesus just reflect the inate racism and bigotry in christianity. Ever seen a black pope?

The human race developed from East Africa tens of millions of years in the past and each physique had darkish epidermis to guard themselves from the sunlight. As small populations began migrating out of Africa 1000's of 1000's of years in the past, people who migrated to northern climates developed lighter and lighter epidermis (much less melanine interior the floor) with each and every technology as a fashion to take up extra photograph voltaic to allow the physique to get sufficient nutrition D (that's in simple terms produced by potential of the sunlight on the floor). because of the fact the international is now a smaller and extra enlightened place with extra mixed marriages between blacks and whites, and because issues like sunblock, technologies, affluence, man made supplementations, and larger awareness makes evolution much less of a element in our epidermis's production of melaine, it rather is theorized that 1000's of 1000's of years from now, epidermis shade adjustments will disappear with each and every physique tending in the direction of an identical epidermis tone.

People must have their pleasant, familiar vision of God. That is the reason....But it does not change the truth:)

This is from the film "Knight's Tale":
-Who' s gonna win the tournament?France or England?
-We will! We are French, we will win cause the Pope is French!
-Maybe the Pope IS French... but Jesus was English -your own, personal.. (lol)
(I like Depeche Mode;)

Jesus was a semite. He was white, like an arab. The others are dumbed-down versions.

colour is not the matter..it is just according to ones conveniences that people create their gods idols on their choice.its the matter of how people identify themselves the most with.the inner qualities are always the same ....the physical changes are mere temporary and insignificant...one should just believe in god and his presence....without forming an image for him.
