It think that is a topic that has been way overdrawn by xenophobic, America First, right wingers. The real competition will be economic; not military. As a superpower, China will expect and achieve hegemony in Asia as, historically, we have done in the Americas. But, I sense no desire on China's part to grasp global domination. They are, after all "The Middle Kingdom" already.

I just read an article in the Telegraph that they are firing lasers at our satellite, China has control of both sides of the Panama Canal, and has port terminals in California.
They certainly are going to be a threat if they aren't already. BUT anytime a group continually attacks a country they must be dealt with.

China and American are in a strong symbiotic relationship. If China was to become aggressive in its tone. The US could stop importing goods and as the Economist Magazine said " three months without American money and China would go belly up".
China will become more and more moderate, that is my guess.

Yes , once China is a full blown superpower they will have a great deal of influence over the world, and lets face it there ideas on human rites do not quite run in line with ours.

china is the worlds worst country. All sub standard products come from china.but china has the biggest army.but its a bad place to live.the goverment is corrupt.the people there eats snakes.the goverment blames people for crimes and kills them and then they steal ther organs.they steal land of farmers and poor people to build factories.they are destroying many countries ecconomies by ther rubbish products and cheap labour.they kill innocent people to steal ther organs.
