There are still four or five people in the U.S. who are liscenced to smoke weed whenever they want, from a research program in the 1970s that investigated the medical uses of THC. They found that there are some rare illnessess which can only be effectively treated with THC and the best way to administer the drug is a big 'ol bong hit. The current administration doesn't want to talk about that though.

Because of the effects it has on mental health as well as physical health. It has a huge amount of tar when smoked.
