absolutely!!!! the feeling of being in love is unlike any other feeling in the world. there are truly no words to express the depth of the feeling, be it the love of relative,friend or lover. Love truly makes the world go 'round...

When Tennyson wrote this, it was about the death of a friend.
While lost love is intensely painful in the short run, when I look back, 5, 10+ years later, the positive things that I experienced and learned about myself outweigh the pain of the loss.

Yes it is better to have loved and lost than never love at all.
The heart is a muscle and it stretches and feels pain but it also grows stronger with love.

I'm struggling with the same question... yes I think it's better because you will always have the memory of love and it can fill you're heart when you are alone, like a friend from the past.

Yes, because you know how great love is, sure it is sad that you lost it, but atleast you have loved. If you never have loved, something special is missing, something wonderful.

well my one on that is if u loved and lost due to death yes its better to have love and lost...but if it was due to them leaving etc no because thats not love although it hurts love doesnt hurt like that and it doesnt leave..if its true love it cant die not even when they do...my grandmother and grandfather were very much in love hes dead 26 years and she still mourns him..never looked at anyone else to me that is true love..
