O.K. - always - here are the details: it is an auto accident, and the driver at fault, who is younger and in much better shape than the other driver, pulls the other driver out of his car and throttles him.
This question is based on a true story, I'll give the end result with Best Answer.

It depends on what type of crime i saw. If it was murder of an innocent person, of course i would stay, if it was murder of a rapist, i would spit in the rapist face, so you see my piont.

I certainly would. It is the only thing to do. I can't depend on other people to do my duty for me, and I can't expect the police to work with missing pieces of the puzzle. Perhaps I was the only one who saw a crucial piece of evidence. Even if I wasn't, I have this inner need to know that I can make a difference.

As a responsible citizen anyone should give the information to police. Possibly if the crime is within our neighbourhood or in our family than it is strongly suggested to inform the police. If any one is not staying, he may be afraid of something. God Bless You

What type of crime? Most likely, yes. it is my civic duty as a person to help the police and the victim or victims.

have before.even went to court for it..company vehicle hit driver in car..company ccould have skated on insurance payoff.bunch of people saw it..i was only one who stopped.
it was a dump truck for a lg company..they denied liability.

If I was the victim- you betcha.

Actually in most areas- you are required to provide such evidence.
Withholding evidence can get you in HOT water.
