I like stuff like Stone sour, Bullet for my valentine, Trivium, Lostprophets. So anything like that; but not too shouty. Like the heavy music but not the screechy vocals.

Not really what you asked for but check it out anyway...

Tom Waits - Bone Machine + Real Gone
Primus - Pork Soda + Sailing The Seas of Cheese
Pantera - anything
Stormtroopers of Death (Anthrax side project) - Speak English Or Die
Clash's self titled debut (get the UK version NOT the US one)
Killing Joke's new LP - Hosannas from the Basements of Hell
Probot (Dave Grohl side project - way better than Foo Fighters)
Fugazi - 13 Songs
Metallica - Kill Em All, Ride The Lightning + Master Of Puppets (everything they've recorded since then is pale by comparison)

Try that on for size.

Foo Fighters have a good variety of songs -some shouty, some not so shouty, some a bit of both. I like the variation and the build up in their music. Also they are F*king amazing live.

Dude, what are you doing NOT listening to The Devin Townsend Band? Sounds to me like you are looking for a metal band with clean vocals, with just a hint of bite? Check out the myspace: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=48634966

ok, i've never heard those bands before so i don't know if these artists will be similar but you could check out Of Montreal. They have some trippy psychedelic fun music. and The Raconteurs seem cool. I heard this song called "Store Bought Bones" by them and i think it's some good stuff. I don't know. You could check out one of those. =) Another good artist is Danzig. yum. haha

Gogol Bordello

http://www.gogolbordello.com/

They are a great band and very cool. In style they are a bit like... umm... well they are unique I suppose but are very fun and entertaining. There is a link on the site to one of their songs. Think of gypies playing cool punk music.
