There's a difference between "being in love" and loving someone. Being in love is completely normal when you're young. Later when you have had more experience and are older, you will know true love and how to love someone despite your faults and theirs.

I dated a man who was 13 years older than me when I was 18. I loved him, I still do, but more as a friend. If there is a huge age difference I think you will find that ultimately you don't share common interests and age difference will be a factor. If you can both get past that I say go for it!

I think when you are young it is harder to decipher between love and lust. I also think that if you do love someone when you are younger that is a more true and pure love. The reason i say that is because you probably aren't having sex, and you end up growing up together, creating a bond that can never be broken.

Nothing wrong with being in love. I know many of us have had a crush on a teacher when at school, or some film star or sports personality. Better to love than to hate!!

i am 14 and he is 19! its the matter of love not age!
if u both love each other then age dosen't matters!

this all depends on what you mean by young and older. for example if you are both in highschool, grand, but if you are a freshman in highschool and he is graduated, not ok. or if your in college and he is 86, legal, but still not ok. until you are graduated from highschool its good to follow the two to three year limit.

You didn't mention any ages but if this is like a teacher/student thing I say it is OK to admire but not to initiate anything to jeopardize that relationship. If you are both over 21 I say age doesn't matter it is a matter of maturity.

love is not a matter of how young or how old are you...if that is what you feel then go ahead...just dont get any further that...ok?

Love is a natrual thing.....infatuation is a different story. Learn the difference between the two.
**as long as you're not a minor child and "your" love is an adult, that would be a no, no!
