Sweet Corn (on the cob). Yummy yum yum
P.S. Okay, sugar beets and sugar cane have more sugar contents, but nothing beats the balanced and satisfying taste of sweet corn on the cob. Served with Prime Rib (or Rib Eye) steak, a baked potato with butter, cream cheese and bacon bits + a good red wine. All topped off with a slice of apple pie and a couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream. Oh yeah, let's not forget a good roll around the crops for dessert (for the consenting adults) and a friendly came of softball for the kids! … The quintessential American cookout. :-)

I certainly am glad that the sweetest crops around here are
exuberantly flavoured peaches, the most aromatic apricots, heavenly juicy pears, sweet-as-honey figs, grapes you haven't tasted yet in you life.
All those other sweets...mmm.. they do sound good....but...eaten enough of those... I wouldn't be able to get through the door in order to open the window :-) :-) :-)
