Fictional movie with some factual information to support the storyline... I enjoyed the movie but the book is far better!
I have to to agree scourgeoftheleft... Angels and Demons is better than the Da Vinci Code!!!

I saw a show on The Discovery Channel or TLC (or some channel like those) about this. It is a work of fiction. There are a lot of inaccuracies in it. The Wikipedia article I link to below discusses a lot of the same things the show I saw did. It was an alright move though.

The da vinci code is completely fictional.
Its based VERY LOOSELY on accusations that were made against da vinci and some other famous people of that time, which were proven, at the time, to be completely false.
The author, Dan Brown, has taken what happened, ans made a interesting FICTIONAL book, which beacuse of some of its contents, people are questioning as FACT.
Dan Brown himself has said that the book is fictional

A fiction which hurt the feelings of Christians. To my opinion the book was much better than the movie. If you are not a christian you should like the FICTION, but if you are a christian then you should be offending it.
