Haven't watched it but saw a thing on Trinny & suzhanna the other night and they use stylists! So I don't think much will have changed in the way they get people to dress because they never chose the outfits themselves anyway!

I expected it to be totally inferior to Trinny and Susannah's series, but I was pleasantly surprised. Personally, I thought the transformations on both ladies was amazing - not just in the way they were dressed, but also the way in which they both regained their confidence.

I think it's absolutely right that contenstants with both dress sense and confidence problems are picked. They often go "hand in glove" (no pun intended). If your self-esteem is low, then you can't be bothered with how you dress, then your self-esteem gets lower and your insecurities get bigger.

I think Mica and Lisa handled the whole thing well considering Trinny and Susannah owned "What Not To Wear", and it'll clearly be a hard act to follow. They possibly came over a bit to T&Sish, and maybe they should find a slightly different style. Having said that - I guess if the formula works, don't break it.

I thought it was rubbish last night. They chose the 2 out of the 5 based on who they thought deserved help circumstance-wise rather than the worst dressed (well, ok so 1 of them actually was!). It was like ooh, poor her she's had to move away from her partner to care for her elderly mother - let's give her a new wardrobe and makeover!

It was totally emulating the "How to look good naked" show. I didn't see the last series with T&S, but I am sure it didn't have all those family interviews with really leading questions, "what do you want to say to your mum" "oh mum I love you and you deserve to look good"

For God's sake, the family are supposed to be there to dig out their albums and home videos so the hosts can talk about the victims' fashion faux pas!

I was thoroughly disappointed in it, and I doubt that I'll bother watching it again. The format was more psychological guidance, rather than clothing guidance. When I watch "What Not to Wear" I don't want to hear sob stories about peoples' problems or the poor choices they've made ... unless those poor choices relate directly to clothing. Bring back T&S - they know how to do that sort of programme format right!

I liked Mica and Lisa's way of presenting - they seemed much more like friends who wear helping rather than jolly hockey sticks bossing.

However, I'm not sure the outfits the larger lady was given were very sensible - her boobs seemed to be falling out of the corset.

I'm sure that over time they will grow in style and ability.

Not so good. Trying to hard to be like T & S but will probably get better. Was funny though to see the blonde one living the life of her contestant when she was clearly freaked out by her husband and his disturbing obsession with teenage clothes.

Ok, except T & S would def have commented on that woman's daughter...the cheek of her nominating her mother when she had a revolving collection of football shirts and other man sport clothing paraphinalia. People in glass houses....

Its not as bad as I thought it might have been, Mica and Lisa aren't quite as good, and I think they are trying too hard to be T & S. But I think they'll get better as the series goes on, I hope so, its one of my favourites!
