it is very true but our education is a legacy of the British who wanted to produce only admin staff through out schools...

no one ever though of teaching investment evaluation in school.

Even experiments in school have restricted themselves to subjects like accounts and book keeping... not real finance...

I think we can start by introducing a project work subject on investment options in the 8th standard... but then the problem remains where will we find the teachers who can evaluate anything beyond decorative and cosmetic projects.....

By making economics an interesting subject.......i guess thats the first step.......
