You can earn a million dollars through careful financial planning. So, I would disagree with the quote. However, if you "earn" a million dollars by being dishonest, then you really haven't "earned" it. Just a thought.

You can earn a million dishonestly, but you'll be in the minority.
Millions are earnt by a combination of being in the right place at the right time, hard work and trusting business associates or clients. It's easier to earn a million if you are honest and build strong business relationships.
