"The End of Poverty" by Jefrey Sachs. The author is no dreamer. He's a distinguished economist. Among other things he's a professor at Columbia University. They lured him away from Harvard. His biggest fan is the entertainer Bono, lead singer for U2, who is or was one of his students. Professor Sachs founded an organization called Millennium Promise, which recently got a pledge for $50,000,000 from George Soros. His website is millenniumpromise.com. Be sure to spell millennium right. I didn't the first time. As of today, another organization has hijacked that address somehow, so you'll get them instead. Bono has started an organization called One, which has gathered over 2,000,000 supporters in a short time. His webisite is one.org.

Rescently finished it was Dean Koontz's "Odd Thomas"

If you haven't read it, read it! If you have a good imagination it will creep you out and get your mind going for hours! I loved it!
Im an avid book reader and am reading a new book every week... I have too many favorites.. but that is the one I just finished reading yesterday. Try it out.

Im now reading Dean Koontz's "Hideaway" which is begining to get really good. ( I just got a whole collection of Dean Koontz, VC Andrews books on eBay for $20 each set) It was a good deal!

I usually have a "current favorite" and a "permanent favorite" for everything. My current favorite books is Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susannah Clarke; my permanent favorite is The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.

My number one all time favourite is the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Out of the trilogy my favourite is the Fellowship of the Ring.

I also love F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, Francoise Sagan's Bonjour Tristesse and Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.

"I Will Fear No Evil" by Robert Heinlein and "Biting the Sun" by Tanith Lee. I also really, really enjoyed "Memoirs of a Geisha" (the movie was crap, but the book was amazing). The Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony is also quite good. The first book is called "On a Pale Horse".

Well, i'm not much of a book reader but the first pocket book that made me never forget was The Forbidden Game: The Hunter by L.J. Smith. It's a horror-romantic book which really gave me the chills readng it. That was years before though and it's still in my mind. Too bad the book wasn't mine ;(
