Absolutely right. Why so many chances to Sehwag? If it is a game of performers. Only Selectors, Chappel & Dravid knows. Even Sehwag himself would be wondering why I am here?

Ganguly lost his form and captaincy. It is better he announces his retirement. Moreover he is not a good fielder. Evern Batsmen like Lakshman was kept away bcos of this reason. Sehwag is a match winner and he is a nightmare to most of the opening bowlers. Whether he makes runs or not, the opponent would sure be planning or bothering much about his presence. Sehwag is young and he will regain his form.

The most important thing now is that Indian team should not try to change the batting slot of the players in every matches. That should be kept permanent.

Just look at Indian team during 1980's. Very rarely the batting order was changed.

Ganguly to be out. Sehwag to be retained.

it is sometimes yes! and sometimes no!cuz sehwag is completely out of form and ganguly when in team is always arrogant and wants everything to work his way!!!

when chappell became india's coach he said ganguly never did regular practice on his own and blamed other players for the team's loss!!!
he also said that ganguly has become a burden on the indian cricket team! as he is not in form from the last two years and rarely scores above 10!
sehwag must be ousted by the selectors but he must not be replaced by ganguly!!
if u r a big fan of dada(ganguly) then u will surely want him to return but must think of the current situation of the team!!

I agree with you. If the selectors/coach/captain based Ganguly's exclusion due to poor form, it should now apply to Sehwag as well. Now that's a fair game isn't it?

In reality I think Ganguly got the short end of the deal due to his tiff with Chappell. As long as Chappell remains the coach, Ganguly will not be included in the core team. Whatever the selectors are doing now is just an eyewash including him in the probables. They are playing it safe to appease the Bengal crowd yet will not give him a chance to actually play.

As per Sehwag, I don't see why he should be given unlimited chances to regain his form. He is as mercurial as he ever was and luck being his side- he titillates the nation with once-in-a-while knock. But consistency apparently is not part of his dictionary.

hello priyanka first of all there shouldn't be the talk of getting some player into the game by only replacing one..i don't think that it was ganguly's fault on not playing well and the same gets in the case of sehwag..it lies in their efforts in retaining themselves in the game not their luck comes there..and the only thing that has to be kept in mind of players is to bring the India up over all the bondings and perfom well..it was very sad when they lost the tri series..they should have tried a little.. i believe in my Indian team and so all should do.. thank u..

Well, Well, Well

Seems like another Ganguly fan which won't let die the Ganguly issue. Okays, Sehwag has been out of form lately and you have full rights to ask for his termination. But, on what ground do you propose Ganguly as his replacement? He, too, hasn't performed in any of the matches he has played lately, inspite of these matches not being international.

Come on guys, there is no place for regionalism or any other sort of bias in cricket. Let him perform first. He, or any other, will definitely make it to the indian team if they perform to desired level. Now the reins are in good hands.

No
I think, that both of them are badly needed in Indian team. When Saurav will return back Sehwag will automatically start striking.
Saurav knows how to boost up his players morale.

I think Sehwag must not be out .Eventhough he is out of form he is a hard hitter of ball.So he can score very quickly than Sourav. Also he is a good all-rounder.He can do good with ball . India lose quick wickets in the middle so I think Dravid must bat in the middle and Sehwag open with Tendulkar . AM I CORRECT?

When a yard stick is applied to one player than the same thing has to applied to one and all. I prefer Sourav Ganguly than inconsistant Shewag.
