Cost can vary . If I was doing it , It would be just parts. A shop doing it would be Parts and Labor . The cost factor can be from one end of the scale to the other . It all depends on who is doing the job for you. Seek out someone you trust . A place where I use to take my cars was the Local High Schools and Colleges . They will do it for cost of parts . The catch is they have the learning students doing the work . But it is supervised and always double checked by the Shop Proctor before returning the car back to you .......Bearings usually run about 10.00 to 20.00 bucks Each. It comes with a Race and the Bearing . Inner and Outter Bearings should always be replaced as a set. Always be sure to get a reliable person . It can be very dangerous for a back yard mechanic to think he knows how to do it ..... Just tighting the nut on the assembly and putting a new carter pin in can sometimes
be not adjusted right ( Pressure wise ) or forget to put the pin back in . Causing the nut to come lose and having a wheel come off . I am almost sure every one has seen a front wheel be missing on the freeway only to see it a quarter mile down the way ...... Yep make sure you get someone who knows their stuff.

First jack the car up. You need to take the wheel off. There will be like a 30mm? nut on the half shaft. You have to remove that. You will probably have to remove brake parts (disc, etc...). Then there are like four torx bolts holding the bearing on. It is a sealed bearing. You just replace this with a new one. They used to cost around $125 when I replaced them ten years ago. I will have to say they rarely went bad. Of thousands of cars I worked on, I have only replaced a handful.
