Just one example: Maybe you remember this story

A while ago a guy did a mock conversion of the new Mac to a PC

He took empty cases and pretended to convert the Mac to a PC by brutally modifying it.

He then posted the pics on the net.....

Mac users went off like a bomb. Someone even threatened to emasculate him for the "sacrilege".

The Mac users went crazy and the normal people thought it was funny as hell.

Maybe that says enough????

Ok let the shouting begin (hehehehe)

Mac is a UNIX variant, and is therefore safer, more secure, and overall more stable than any Windows OS has ever been or ever will be. However, unlike Linux, which can run on almost anything, Mac locks you into their hardware, which is kind of evil. On the plus side UNIX gets little or no viruses and there is no spyware.

Cant say I care that much, I use a Mac for work as I am a Graphic Designer, I also use a PC on occasion but I guess it boils down to what your used to, but I find the Mac an easier tool to use...

Must admit Mac people do as a rule tend to be a bit on the snobby side, but that is only so they can stand up against the millions of PC users that feel such aggression towards Mac's...

If Mac's are so bad how come PC's have been trying over many years to make there operating systems look more like a Mac?

I think the mac users probably look down on PC users because macs are better for making movies and doing creative stuff and all that, which takes a lot of talent and time so maybe they think they're better than PC users because the PC is better for games and yeah for most games you don't need too many skills. I do agree though. All my friends who have a mac are always going on about why I have a PC and blablabla. I reckon PC's are better than macs :D

There those PC users who love to belittle the Mac, so it goes both ways. I was interviewing for a job and one of the managers asked me if I preferred to use a Mac or Windows. I thought they were just trying to find out what system to put in my office. But as soon as I said Mac, I got pounded for wanting to play with toys and how the Mac was not a serious business computer. I really should have told him off for being a jerk, I certainly wasn't going to be offered a job with that attitude.

The controversy continues.....

Because a crime WAS committed! The MAC is a superior machine to most commercially produced PC's that I have encountered!

I concur - OFF WITH HIS HEAD!

I own 3 MACS and I build my own PC's now after owning Compaq, HP, IBM, DEC, Wang.

You pay more, but you are not spending your precious time on the phone with Tech Support trying to decipher whatever dialect they are trying to speak English with. Or dragging the $#^$^$$ thing to a repair depot to do warranty work 2 weeks after you purchased the ^$$^$) thing! Or taking out the time on Yahoo Answers and other Techie Internet sites yelling for Geek Help...

The two Steve's (Jobs & Wozniak) would have had him drawn & quartered if they knew!!!

I guess you can tell which type of personal computer I enjoy using.... MACS RULE!

Why are PC users (some) so aggressive and belittling towards Mac users? Just one example: Maybe you seen these on this site.
A questioner asks a question about a Mac and a PC user answers with Macs suck or Macs are sxxt. Maybe that says enough?

What *WAS the difference 64 bit? Now PCs are available 64 bit.

Or did I miss something besie the price and need for status?

Because anyone that will pay more for a product that is not any better than a PC seem to have to justify it. Maybe to themselves. A fool and his money are soon parted?
