Im going on a cruise in Novemeber. Ill be swimming daily and was wondering how to not have my period during that time? Pill?

I would take the pill. Even if you are supposed to start during that week you can skip the placebo pills and just start right away on the next pack. It's not something that is recommended to do all the time, but one month will be ok. Talk to your ob/gyn about it.

Yup the pills about the only way to do that. It's kind of too late though, if you are on it for a while you can skip the pills you take during the week you get your period (placebo) and skip a period, if it's your first month on them though, you'll prob still have some bleeding. Go for tampon's or the DivaCup, swimming is no problem with those.

You will still get your period if u take the pill....go to your doctor and ask for a depoprevira shot (not sure if its spelt correctly). This is a form of the pill and lasts 6months to a year. U wont get your period in that time...ive heard stories about the side affects tho from friends....
*weight gain
*vomiting in the first and second month
*high blood pressure in some cases
*severe bleeding when the pill runs out
So becareful of the risks if u decide to take it.

Go to your OB doctor very soon and tell him or her what you would like and I am sure there is
a birth control pill that will let you have a period
only every three months.I saw the advertisement on TV.

Preventing ur period? heard the old way that ancient chinese do? Know the black pepper grains?*the ones in small round balls?* If u wann to stop for 7 days.....eat 7 littles ones of that.....i had tried that......it works...lol

You need to get the shot. OR... USE A TAMPON?! Those can be worn while swimming.
GET PREGNANT... THAT'S A GREAT IDEA. GET PREGNANT, THAT WAY YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY AND YOU AND YOUR BF CAN HAVE LOTS OF SEX WITHOUT CONDOMS (JUST GET TESTED!!!)!!!... hehe.
