I'm using DSL internet with wireless network and my wireless G router cost me around 25 dollar and it likes to overheated a lot. Should I get a new wireless router? I don't want to spend lots of money like cost 100 dollar or something.

Well............ I thinks that it is happening because using of a proxy on the host computer. Check and close it for some time and if the speed of internet remains same, then I have no idea on using wireless.

wireless has alot to do w/ speed

-check the mpbs, should be 53 or more.
-check location, should be central in home
-do not use portable phones or cell phones near wireless router since it ***** up the signal
