Now I know the different types of materials a bowling ball can be made from but what I was wondering was what are the house balls, offered at the bowling alleys made out of? does anyone know? thank you!

House balls are made of polyester, plastic or urethane. It all depends on which manufacturer is able to secure a contract with each bowling center. Columbia, Brunswick and Ebonite are the main manufacturers, but every company makes house balls.

They are hollow recycled plastic Ford bumpers. They are filled with a smaller ball surrounded by mercury to throw it off a tad.

Generally urethane,or plastic for the Kiddie balls.

Most are made with a 2-part resin. some have a dense metallic or liquid core to help their momentum.
