Because school sucks. I droped out and it was a great choice. But I admit I was lucky to end up making ends meet and getting in the line of work that pays well and I like without a high school diploma.
I never did any homework even in classes I liked this included projects as well I did almost nothing. But in tests normally I got above 85% except in french, math and a few other small random classes.

If you don't you will have a heck of a time in college. I get like 25 hours a week of homework. You should be lucky.

It's to prepare you for the mind-numbing amount of homework you'll get in college, and all the work you'll have to do once you get a real job.

homework everyday,,that's normal...
whe i was in college, we get several projects everyday and they were due in such a short time....but finish school and everyone will be proud of you
as for your question why do we get lots of homework and projects?...because students hate school and school hates their students...heh

The education system is designed to produce lots of mindless drones who do everything they are told, and don't ask questions.
