I wonder if you lost anyone on 9-11. I didn't think so.

I wonder if you would have agreed to end the war with Japan by dropping the two nukes. I wonder if you would have agreed to bomb the residential cities in Germany in order to win the war.

I wonder if you do not like your family members and hope they will be killed by Muslim wackos.

I wonder if you think the black Mayor in Louisiana did a fine job in getting the people out before the levies broke.

I wonder if you will ever grow up.

Hope this helps.

The black mayor and white governor of Louisiana (both Democrats by the way) are the ones you should be talking to. If either of them had done their job New Orleans would have been much better off. Little things like using those school buses in the evacuation and requesting federal assistance before the hurricane hit.might have saved countless lives and had federal help there a lot sooner.

Just for your information most of the refineries in the US are on the gulf coast so if oil was the reason for war you can bet your a** the government would have protected the refineries if it could have.

Actually the levees that gave way in New Orleans during Katrine (17th street canal and Industrial canal) were both protecting the poorer area of town. Apparently a number of people reported hearing loud explosions just prior to these levees collapsing. Speculation is that officials decided that it would be prudent to allow the poor areas to flood and by doing so, relieving the pressure on the barriers protecting the upper class areas.

As far as oil reserves are concerned, the question is would they have gone after Saddam if he was running a country like say, Iceland. No oil there.

Republicans represent the white, Anglo-Saxon, christian side of the populace and it's pretty evident that they don't understand the rest of the world. They don't even seem to want to make an effort to do so.

As far as the torture goes, just look at domestic crimes the local police have committed against non-white detainees in urban precincts. None of them are white. I can't think of any white folks who died while in police custody.

So to answer your question, the American society is structured to be bias and this is one of the reasons that most of the world is reluctant to adopt their way of life. Right now the USA is trying to impose their "Democracy" on the folks in Afghanistan and Iraq. They really don't want anything to do with it.

...I am white.

And I'm not exactly swimming in money, but I have a decent nest egg.

I was in the Katrina area, too, and I know several other middle-class whites here. We had no special treatment; FEMA responded slowly and we had to eat MRE's, too. We felt betrayed and depressed, too. Whites and blacks both suffered. Rich and poor suffered. Mississippians and Lousianians suffered. We all suffered.

If you think that "rich whites" are getting all the attention, why is my school still in trailers?

The congress just passed a law today that allows the government to declare anybody a terrorist, torture them and put them in jail without a trial. It will only be a matter of weeks before they start rounding up American Muslims of all colors claiming they are winning the war on terror without any proof. It's official the American experiment has just ended. This country is doomed and I don't think there is any turning back.

George W Bush is only thinking about the rich people in this world and he seems to be weeding out the weak and infirm. Are you really suprised that black people were treated with such disdain and cruelty? Ever hear of slavery?

Of course. If there's a way to dichotomize between them and someone else, they are all over it.
