McLaren have come to an agreement with Chip Ganassi that released JPM from his F1 contract, so he is now free to race for the NASCAR Team.

I think he'll race in the Busch Series first - I hope so as I get those races for free! - for maybe two or three races, then if he does well, maybe race in the final Nextel Cup Race of the year.

DelusionRoad, you are right that F1 has no juristiction over any other Race Series, but JPM's contract with the McLaren Mercedes Team prevented him from driving for any team in any other series - mainly for commercial reasons - and you'll find that it's the same for most drivers in any race series these days.

He is running ARCA at Talladega, mebbe a Busch race or 2.
Then, they say if it looks like its a good idea, they will enter Montoya in one Nextel race by the end of the season.

Of course its far too late to run for a championship in these series, merely gaining some oval experience before next season.

P.S. F1 has no jurisdiction over any race series except its own. Montoya can race anywhere he wants in whatever series he wants, but cant race for a different F1 team.

I don't believe he will. If I'm not mistaken his Nascar debut is next season.

Although, they should start putting him in some Busch series races now so that he can get a little bit of seat time and Busch series, they had him in a couple of races and he did pretty experience before he goes into the Cup series. Chance 2 did that with Martin Truex Jr towards the end of the 2003 season in the decent.

I believe no. You know that he has contract with Mclaren Mercedes F1 since the end of the season and eventhough he retired from F1, he is not allowed to run in another Championship, till the end of the season. I've heared something like this, but if you have another opinion...

If he don't, I think he needs to so he can get some experience.
