ISomeone is suffering with this problem One boil came inside the anus. Doctors gave local anashesia and cleaned puss formation part. Is it a serious problem. Please let me know.

She is 76 years old women.She is not able to express also about her problem. We only have to see and find out.

It is not very serious but must be attended to for patient comfort bu also for prevention of more serious problems. It is likely her physician prescribed an antibiotic and these must be continued as he/she directed...do not stop...until such time as your doctor tells you to do so. Many patients stop taking medications too soon and the problem returns. An abscess is like a pocket where bacteria have been multiplying and the body's defense is to send white blood cells to destroy the bacteria and this causes a swelling of the tissue...sometimes it pops (like a boil might do) however there is damaged or weakened tissue and the pathogen (the attacking bacteria) may enter the bloodstream and cause a generalized septicemia (blood poisoning).

my grandma had one on her neck it got huge and the doc had to remove it. little after that she was fine.it may be a little more serious in the anus.
