my husband and i had twins may of this year. born full term weighing almost 6lbs each. at 6 days old we found out the girl had a coarctation of the aorta and a ventrical septical defect. at 11 days her bowel ruptured and we almost lost her they had to do emergency surgery and put in a colostomy. she had open heart surgery at almost 3 weeks old, had her bowels repaired about a month ago. is home now and doing great! has anyone else ever been through this w/a baby? we love her and are so thankful that she made it through this and is still here with us.

our daughter was also on an NG tube when she came home, feeding tubes are a pain in the butt. thankfully they did a 100% success on the heart repairs.

I have never been through this particular process, but have been through many more. I am so glad that you have a healthy baby now! My second daughter was born with a very rare(she is one of 5 people living with it in the world) chromosome disorder. She is three, and cannot walk(she rolls to get around!) cannot tlk except for grunts and groans, and is on a feeding tube(G tube) plus about 20 other problems. And just like you I love her more then the world. I was so ok with it when she was 1st born, they had a social worker at the hospital talk to me to see if I really understood the magnitude of her disorder! Be proud and happy that you have beautiful babies to love no matter what obsticals you have to face. You are blessed!

I am also a mother of twins and I know this must have been really hard for you. I have not had a similar experience but I'm glad your baby is doing good.

Haven't been through it but consider your child prayed for.

God Bless and may Jehovah's love and holy spirit help you through any further trials.
