Geography requires mathematical calculations to find the distance of places, gradient of hills, areas, and heights of places.Places' location are also given in terms of degrees and through calculations the layout of areas can be predicted.Geography depends a lot on math(obtaining hurricane speeds knowing times of places through the Greenwich meridian)
