0) As a male, I have used maximised caprylic acid, or capricin to deal with my candida in the alimentary canal. It had given me migraine, bad breath and so on. It is non-prescription.

1) Natural yoghurt completely sugar free MAY work.

2) Avoid eating junk food, especially any high GI foods such as glucose, sucrose, white bread, mashed potatoes without extra fibre in the veg.

Yeast thrives on this sugar.

3) If you drink fluids all the time, then you might have undiagnosed diabetes mellitus, which might encourage thrush.

4) Read up any book by Patrick Holford, or visit his web site.

Yes, it helps a little. The yogurt contains a bacteria that eats the thrush. Make sure it's live culture yogurt. There are also some capsules if you get tired of eating yogurt day in and day out. Also... kind of a gross option... some places say direct application can help. Just depends on how desperate you are.

If you don't already have a yeast infection/thrush, yogurt can attribute to good health of the "good bacteria" in your body, to fight off bad bacteria ... like thrush. However, once you already have an infection, there's no amount of yogurt that will cure the thrush/yeast infection. You need to see a doctor ... Mono-stat works well.

If you have a boyfriend, he'll need to take an oral medication as well ... otherwise, you'll just be passing the infection back and forth.

Yes it does help. Cut down on anythin with yeast in it. But yoghurt will work if you apply it externally too. It will stop the irritation. Internally it will build up the ood bacteria. So YES eat as much as you can. I know how you feel.

Thrush is a yeast infection, it would be best to go to the doctor, particularly if it's in an advanced stage. Yogurt will increase your systems acidity, so it would be good for fighting the infection, but probably not good enough. Eat your yogurt, it's also good for increasing your acidophilus level and a good digestive system.

Also take vitamins. What you can do is, in yogurt put some milk, sugar and ice and blend. This is a very tasty indian drink called lassi. you can use salt instead of sugar.
