possibly fighting nature (rising water levels, global temperature, ozone layer etc)
I may predict a rise in technological advances for maintaining the same environment for human kind.

Next? The war of Gog and Magog (a nuclear war between Iran, Israel, Russia and the U.S.), three years of chaos, the battle of Armageddon (when God wipes out the remaining armies on earth), the Golden Age (when Jesus returns to teach us to live like God intended) and the end of time concluding with the final judgment. The world will not see the end of this century and it is likely that George Bush will be the last president in history.

I believe the War on Terrorism is a perpetual war and one that keeps everyone so scared they don't care what civil liberties are being taken away from them. (read some George Orwell)
The only way to reduce terrorism is to stop being terrorised. Give a hijacker/terrorist group/whatever no press and people will come to realise that violent protests do not work.
We need to stop hiding and focusing on the boogy-man that may not even be there (eg. NY after the London transport bombs).

Who knows if you go by Nostradamus prodictions there will be a WWIII that will start before the year 2012. It could be/ more than likely building a democratic middle east, and even later in the century it could be a world conflict for oil and other fossil fuels.

America must unite with a common purpose. Strength is in unity. The media and politicians must unite for the common good of our nation and the people and stop the propaganda. As far as technology. The best is yet to come. Did you know that some time during the 1930's, whom ever was head of the US Patent Office, stated we should close it down because he thought everything that could be invented had already been invented. How little he knew.

I wouldn't look too far ahead. The religious right in America want this war as much as radical Muslims (because they are twins).
If war doesn't reduce the population a pandemic certainly will.
It's going to be a wild ride. Better buckle-up.

Dude, there is not any conflict on terrorism, its all one huge excuse to tax you greater, positioned you under greater scrutiny, make you afraid of the international so which you back the protection tension and for this reason enable the protection tension to contnue plundering for the rich few who create those lies interior the 1st place. Terrorism as all of us be attentive to has existed and could survive perpetually in humanity. insurrection and violence alongside with shortage are and continually have been a actuality of existence. present day terrorism as all of us be attentive to it extremely is a skill of isolating muslims and anybody anti-american and function them style-forged as evil minded. at the back of terrorism are the oil barons reaping havoc around the midsection east besides as wall street investors reaping havoc in the time of international markets. i may well be greater in contact approximately that than a terrorist blowing up your close by bus. truthfully greater human beings die simply by loss of healthcare than all terrorism deaths in historic past elevated a hundred fold. so according to probability rather of having so riled up and offended approximately terrorism, human beings in us of a could get riled up and fairly offended that your common needs of existence at the instant are not to any extent further being presented, in spite of all of the taxes being paid and trillions being profited from the financial gadget and issues like oil.

China vs. Taiwan, which will escalate into a global conflict with U.S. involvement.
Alternatively, a second American Civil War; a race-war, is not out of the question.
