I hope you're exaggerating on the choice of words you used to say this to your girlfriend. Love is more than looks, weight, clothing, the kind of car the person drives, money, etc...you obviously know nothing of love if you were shallow enough to tell her that you're leaving her if she doesn't lose weight. If her weight bothers you THAT much, you're right, you should LOSE her. She doesn't deserve to be spoken to this way and if you decide to stay with her; you owe her a BIG apology. Someone needs some growing up.

Speaking for all the BBWs that are on here! That was way out of line. And way to harsh. IF you really want her to lose weight this is how you should of approached it.
"Honey, I am concerned about your weight. Your letting yourself go, and its not healthy. I will be your support and help you lose weight. I don't wanna have to lose you at a young age. It adds stress to your heart." etc
But be sensitive about it! And find something that motivates her. You wont get anywhere the way you approached it.

Sorry... no... you are not in the right... A REAL Man would have been supportive of his woman and done everything in his power to help her lose weight because that is a serious health issue
(And for those of you waiting for some biblical basis since I am a minister... the Bible tells men to love their wives even as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it... the Bible also says a man is to love his wife as he loves himself and since a sensible man would never do anything to hurt himself, he shouldn't do anything to hurt his wife).
Did you ever consider the possibility that her weight problem could be indicative of psychological issues... maybe even low self esteem??? Good job buddy. I hope you don't love anyone else the way you love her.

No you are ignorant and very wrong, not to mention the fact that you are obviously lying because you have no girlfriend. You have to remember when you ask questions they are recorded...you mean to tell me you've gone from being rich, well off, and unable to get any to telling someone they are fat and nasty? Yeah right, get a life, LIAR!

NO F***ing way !!! First of all if she is fat and nasty then why are you with her? My guess you're no prize yourself ! Don't you have any regard for her feelings? If you cared ANYTHING for her you would suggest getting a gym membership TOGETHER or going for long romantic walks TOGETHER. Even if you aren't overweight neither would do you a bit of harm. You're a real JERK and you'll get your heart stomped on sooner or later. I hope she blossoms and refines herself only to let the door hit ya on your way out.

You go apoligize to her. you are lucky to have a woman fat or skinny. she needs love to. I don't think you should have said it that way. Women do need to be told they are overweight but not like that. if she is happy being fat then she needs to get rid of you and find someone who will like her the way she is. But if she is way over weight then she needs to lose the weight for health reasons. not to please you. I am fat and try to lose weight but it is hard. So you think about what you said and the way you said it. You don't have to be mean to get your point across.

LoL no its not nice! Your the nasty one for saying it the way u did. If u dont want to be with her then break it off but there is no need to be cruel. Just let her go, she shouldnt have to change her body shape just because of your unthoughtful actions.

If you think that about her, why are you with her. You are not in the right. She may be fat, but nasty is your opinion. Statements like those are abusive, and destructive.

You're probably just upset that she sat on your glasses, so now you have to wear tape to keep them together. But yes, you should tell her to lose weight...she's going to need to look better so she can get a better guy~
