Droping out of school. I know it sounds stupid but it worked out wonders for me. I landed a great paying job doing something I like of curse with computers without any experience. I got lucky though. I hated school so I did not really have a choose.
My problem with school is you need each brick to put the next brick in place. If one thing is not working out and its a brick you need then your life goes no where. I loved to program and worked at it and everything also worked building PC and as a tech years ago. But I hated almost every aspect of public and high school. I droped out in grade 12 and got lucky.

To trust an unseen God with my life. I made a decision to put my life in His hands when I knew my end had come. It was my only remaining choice to make, so I had absolute confidence that this was the time I would know if God is real or not without doubt. He IS.

After I finished university, I took an English teaching job and I went to Warsaw, Poland, for a year and some months. Before I left, I knew nothing about the world, or even taking care of myself (I was still living with my parents at the time).
Today, not the slightest hint of a regret. One of the best ideas I ever had.

I thought it was to quit my well paying job and just enjoy my remaining life (hopefully at least equal to the 30 years I had successfully slogged in my job) - every wellwisher had disapproved.
Now I find I need even more confidence deciding everyday to remain without a job, in the wake of all the scorn and slight that comes my way, even from strangers, for being 'Idle'.

To buy my house. It was scary to do on my own but once I believed in myself, made the decision & committed to it, it was the best thing I ever did! Leaving my comfort zone, moving to a new community, taking a big financial risk were all terrifying but something I knew I had to do in order to grow. Courage isn't the absence of fear, it's feeling the fear & doing it anyway.
Now I'm all settled in & I love my home!

A: The decision that gave me a confident life.
I heard about a loving and forgiving God who gave his son to live and die for me so that I could be free from the condemnation and guilt that came from all the wrong decisions I had made in life. In confidence, I chose to believe God and to receive the forgiveness and freedom he offered me through his son Jesus. I am confident of God's love for me and I choose to live my life to be a blessing to Him and others daily. I am confident in His ability to strengthen me, provide for me, protect me and help me to serve others. I am confident that He has prepared a place for me in heaven and that he is worthy of my life and my praise.

The day I decided to not listen to my doctor and to listen to my intuition. It was right.
I don't recommend doing it but that is just how confident I was about it. I have no idea what I would have done if I didn't listen to that "little voice inside".

Getting a divorce. Best decision ever. Marrying him was my worst by the way.
