I'm a 34 year old male and I have blackheads like crazy on my nose and cheeks below my eyes. I have the "strawberry look". I have tried Retin-A, washing with sylicilic soaps, popping them, using those pull strips, etc. It helps, but I still have tons of small blackheads embedded and I want them out! Looks like I'm out of luck using over the counter products. Is there any cosmetic places to go to that can pull them out with a tool or a laser or something? Anyone else know the best way to get them out???

whenever i get a facial they do extractions which really cleared out my pores, including blackheads. i've tried biore strips, scrubs, etc.. but i found that getting facials was the only real way to clear them out. good luck! =]

As a licensed cosmetologist for my clients with blackheads I have done specialized facials on them, and the results were great...and they say "I've tried everything else, but this is the ONLY thing that works to get rid of those nasty blackheads." So that's what I would recommend would be a facial that would extract your blackheads to make your face look and appear cleaner and w/o the holes or spots you can see sometimes even under makeup when you have blackheads, you probably know what I mean! Good luck!

I use a medicated apricot scrub every morning to exfoliate my face after I wash it down with a simple bar of dove. Soap won't prevent your skin from producing more oils, so it's not going to be very useful to spend money on expensive soap to keep blackheads from forming. The scrub gently clears away the cumulate of skin that fosters blackheads, and though you always get them to a degree, you will cease to have that "strawberry" appearance (I get it around my nose)

Lucky for us we can push out the stubborn ones. At least they aren't whiteheads. As long as you're careful not to force or rupture your skin, blackheads will not "pop" and damage your skin, nor will they cause more local breakouts. The pore blockage in a blackhead is solid.

Ok, here goes....First of all DO NOT POP THEM! This only makes your pores bigger and guess what? More crap will get into them, exfoliate, this will shed the skin and unblock the pores, then wash your face with a good salyic acid soap (Neutrogena has great products) gentle, but good, next use a mosturizer with salyic acid in it so therefore, it moisturizes and the acid eats the dirt away, last but not least use a pore refiner something to tighten those pores after you have cleansed them. Wash every day twice a day and no touchy! Touch the skin, dirt gets in and BAM! Nasty little buggers! Good Luck!

Blackheads are blocked pores. Steam treatment will help to get rid of them, then a strict regime of personal cleanliness with frequent washing.

While in the shower, rub the areas with a wash cloth. Kinda hard.
Then squeeze them out when you get out. Sounds rough but it works. The hot water opens the pores and makes them easier to squeeze.
