short in the headlight switch. it needs to be replaced.

I think if it was mine I would start by replacing the headlight switch. Also It could be the daytime running lights . Check this by depressing the emergency brake while in gear . You may want to get a friend to help with this. If the lights go out when the brake is set then this is your DRL's. It is proven that these have prevented over 125,000 crashes due to better visibility.

MY HEADLIGHTS ON MY 96 CHEVY LUMINA WILL NOT COME ON BUT THE TAILLIGHTS COMES ON NO DASH LIGHTS OR Radio lights

Could be your day time running light
1-look for the switch and turn them of if you want to
2-If you can't find them turn engine on and pull parkink brake.They should go off.
3-If they don't,your switch may bad
