Ho, take the ball out---there should be a removable ring around it to allow this---clean the turds off the ball and the rollers inside, reassemble, and get back to clicking all those gay porn links in a jiffy.

First turn your mouse upside-down; and remove the little clip, where the ball is located. After wards, take some alcohol and with a Q-tip. Dip the Q-tip in the alcohol bottle, so that the tip end becomes slightly moist. Take that end and clean out the two rolling device inside the mouse. Remember to do the same to the ball. You may want to replace your mouse pad or wipe it with a clothe that will remove any type of lent. Replace the ball back into the mouse and close the lid. You should be good after wards.

This is because of dirt clogged in the underneath portion and that is why optical mouse which came after the track and ball mouse has become so popular..... the conventional track and ball gathers dust...

Turn the mouse upside down, then turn the centre disc and remove the ball, clean it with water, use a tissue to clean the inner portion of the mouse ( cavity), put the ball back.. this should improve the performance of the mouse..

Secondly you may also want to check the mouse parameters.
go to Start---> Control Panel---> then Mouse ---> Pointer Option and change the Pointer speed to fast... this should only be done if the performance does not improve after cleaning the ball in your mouse..

Happy Mousing... Cheers, SAM

Your mouse is probably really dirty inside, dust, stickiness, all kinds of crud gets trapped in there. Get a screwdriver and carefully open the bottom of the mouse, remove the ball and clear out any dirt, dust and/or debris. If there is anything sticky use rubbing alcohol to remove it. You may have to look at the little rollers on the sides as well and see if they are dirty amd clean them off too. Carefully replace the ball and put the bottom cover back on and you should be good to go. If the inside of your mouse is spotless it may just be worn out!

Open up the bottom of your mouse and remove the ball, then clean the inside (the little rollers that the mouse touches, they usually have hair and sh!t all over them....put the ball back in and see if it fixes the problem....if not, go buy a laser mouse, they are great and you'll never have that problem...they are not that expensive so don't worry.

Unscrew the bottom, where the ball is and clean the ball and the inside of the mouse happens to me all the time. You will see two arrows and an indentation, put your finger in the indentation and twist, and bingo the bottom opens up and you can clean your mouse.

Turn your mouse over.
Take the cover off of the ball.
Take the ball out.
Scrape the lint off of the two long and one short roller.
Replace the ball and the cover.
It should now work wonderfully.

turn your mouse over, look at the little round bezel around the ball, put your fingernail in the little grooves, and turn it counter clockwise. it should open and the ball will fall right out, clean it off with your tee shirt, blow out the cavity where the ball goes, and put the ball back in, replace the bezel. and it should be better.
