The faucet for the bath still runs water when you pull the nob to make the water run to the showerhead. Its not a lot but its enough to be annoying. The shower works fine. Thanks.

You can fix it yourself. Piece of cake. Can't,can't do anything try.You will find that it is easier than you though. Turn off the water and take the faucet apart and get new parts from Lowe's or Homes Depot and put it back together.Walla fixed. Be sure to turn water back on.

The faucet with the shower nob should unscrew counterclockwise. Buy a new one to match it at a plumbing supply place. Wrap the threads with teflon tape( about 2 full wraps) screw the new faucet back on. Use a Channel lock pliers or vise grips. Wrap a rag around the new faucet so you don't scratch it. The only other thing you need is enough strength to loosen the old faucet( it might be stuck pretty good), and to tighten the new faucet so the water goes straight down.

Actually that's normal to have a little water come out the bottom while using the shower. Try setting it to shower before turning the water on, and see if less water comes out the bottom that way. Good Luck!!

The plunger inside the spout is wearing. To change the spout you just firmly grip it with large pliers and unscrew it turning it to the left. Take that one with you so you will get the same one. That way they can look inside to determine how long you fitting pipe is sticking out of the wall. It's a real simple job.

I'll tell you what i did when i had a plumbing problem i thought was simple enough for me to fix, but wasnt sure how to do it. I went to the library and there is a series of do it yourself books published by TIME LIFE. i was able to do it myself. I bet you could too. i even imagine you could access it online. hope this helps.
